SmartCap’s 8-week internship programme – applications now open
For the first time in its history, SmartCap is opening its doors to an ambitious intern who wants to learn more about the Estonian venture capital market.
At SmartCap, we support Estonian-oriented venture capital funds and green-tech companies, play a key role in developing the local venture capital market, and help innovation flourish. Your internship gives you a front seat to experience it all.
Our internship programme is right for you:
- If you are an open communicator, determined, and a team player
- If you have a keen interest in investing and the Estonian start-up scene
- If you already know something about capital markets, investing, and entrepreneurship, but want to now take your knowledge to the next level
- If you are fluent in both Estonian and English
We would be glad if you already had previous experience in the financial sector, law or within the deeptech/defence-tech landscape, but lack of experience is not a barrier to applying.
During your 8 weeks at SmartCap, you’ll get to:
- Learn on the job with the help of some of the best experts in their fields
- Overcome interesting challenges
- Get an in-depth overview of the venture capital sector and its opportunities
- Have the opportunity to develop your professional network and contribute to the development of the Estonian private equity and venture capital market
- Gain experience in analysing venture capital investments, portfolio management, and thinking through the legal nuances related to the field
