Green Fund
SmartCap Green Fund has closed its investments in funds
SmartCap Green Fund invested a total of 51 million euros in two phases between 2022 and 2026 across three greentech-focused funds:
- 2C Ventures Fund I
- Taaleri SolarWind III
- Norrsken Evolve Fund II
The capital allocated for fund investments has been fully deployed and the Green Fund’s investment strategy objectives have been achieved.
All three funds invest in innovative and research-intensive green technology companies or infrastructure projects that contribute to at least one environmental objective set out in the EU Taxonomy:
- climate change mitigation;
- climate change adaptation;
- water resource protection;
- transition to a circular economy;
- pollution prevention and reduction;
- protection and restoration of biodiversity and ecosystems.
